When a loved one passes away, there are many arrangements to make during this difficult time. In the first instance, please contact a funeral director of your choice. They will coordinate with us regarding your burial or cremation needs.

While our church graveyard is closed to new burials, the adjacent parish council graveyard remains open. For more information about burials there, please contact the parish clerk. Our vicar, Louise Tinniswood, also frequently conducts funerals at both Wakefield Crematorium and Pontefract Crematorium.

We offer the services of a verger, and an organist can be arranged if desired. These details can be discussed with your funeral director or directly with our vicar. Please note there is an additional charge for heating when required.
